Big congratulations to all our winners of July, and again my biggest, heartiest thanks for joining me for this month of celebration, reflection, and becoming acquainted.
I can’t tell you all how awesome it’s been to get to know everyone a bit and see such energy and enthusiasm around here. Though I can’t promise continual giveaways anymore, I do hope you keep stopping by regularly for conversation. =) After today, I’ll be going back to my standard Monday~Wednesday~Thursday routine, with special featured like reviews and interviews appearing occasionally on Tuesdays and Fridays.

We have no Christian bookstore in our town, and only one very small BAM whose Christian Fiction section is miniscule, so I’m afraid most of mine is online. How about you?

I am a really eclectic book shopper because I'm a major cheapskate and my only form of employment is babysitting. I check multiple resources to find the best deal possible. Online I go to Amazon, Abebooks.com, Half.com, Christianbook.com, and sometimes eBay. And for store shopping I go to Half Price Books and Ollie's (GREAT prices-Christian Fiction for $1-5).
Roseanna, I love the new header! I meant to mention that yesterday, but I forgot when I read the blurb for your new book (the sequel you're working on).
I get most of my new books at Lifeway, but I shop at BAM and Hastings sometimes too. Oh, and I can't forget to mention Half-Price Books! Online is last resort for me, but I do sometimes order from Amazon (mostly Kindle stuff) or Abebooks.com (you can find great discounts there on used books!).

And a highlight of my year was always getting the CBD fiction catalogue. =) My mom and I would pour over it, dog-earing all the pages, LOL. Christmas for me was pretty easy. 😉

I buy most of my books online at christianbook.com I've been buying from them since way before the store was online. I also buy from our local Lifeway bookstore as I really appreciate that we have a Christian bookstore available, so I do try to support them. I'm more likely to buy non-fiction books and materials there–like to use for my Sunday School class or Bible study.
I'm looking forward to reading Ring of Secrets.
I don't usually buy books unless I know I am going to love and adore them (like yours!) but when I do, it's usually the Family Christian Bookstore or Barnes & Nobles. I don't really do online shopping.

Thanks, Rachael. =) And I so get that–much of my purchasing is used too, though I've been making it a point lately to buy new the books of authors I really want to support. Something I could start doing more once I SOLD books, LOL. But yeah, I know *I* never want to part with them once I get them. 😉
If at all possible I will buy my books at library book sales and garage sales, but when that fails (sadly often – no one seems to want to give up books that came out this past year), I typically resort to used bookstores and online. Now if money were not an issue . . .
