My question to you today:
Do you still send letters by post, or are you all email?
*I’ll be ordering this and having it shipped directly to the winner; if for some reason it is unavailable at the time of purchase, winner can choose another item from VTC of equal or lesser value in its stead.
So much fun to see all the responses!
I'm primarily an email girl, in that I send a gazillion of those a day. But I do love sending out note cards and that sort of thing on occasion–it feels like SOMETHING these days to take that time.
I used to be an avid correspondent with friends and family who lived away from me. I have a huge collection of letters from them still in my desk drawer (twenty years later).
That pen set is absolutely beautiful! I do send most of my stuff by email – but I write letters/card on occasion. And I want that 😉
I send letters or notes mostly by email now, which is kind of sad. My Mother sends notes & letters in the post & I love finding them in my mail box.
I send both. I have a friend and we correspond through letters, emails, notes, texts, and phone calls. I send cards and notes for other occasions. I also use email frequently.
Thank you for the lovely giveaway! I love this week's item!
I'm definitely an emailer – though I'm better at sending than receiving. I do still write a few letters every now and then … and I send birthday cards all the time. 🙂
I have always been a letter writer, but less now. A lot of my friends and family I wrote to have passed away and others just don't like to write. I love the expectation of aa letter in the mailbox. Yes I also write emails but only because no one wants to write paper letters anymore. it is easier to be comforted to know someone really cared enough to take the time to sit and write to you, then mail the letter.
I would love to be a winner of this book and gift package.

Birthday remembrances, I send a message in a card ~ and a friend and I send letters; we met when we were fifteen when her mother took care of my little brother. Others I e-mail more back and forth with a quick same-day response.
It's most email for me but I do occasionally send a letter to my friends through the mail just for fun!
Thanks for the post!
I mostly email but my best friend often spends her summers in Cali with her grandmother and internet is spotty at best so I write letters to her!
I use mostly email, but I love handwriting letters as well. That's a lovely set. I hope it's still available for whoever wins!
Blessings,
Andrea
mostly email
I love e-mail, but I still occasionally send some letters to friends and family. 🙂 I sent and received quite a few letters when I was in college – my grandma and I corresponded quite a bit that way, despite the phone calls! (I grew up close to my grandparents, so it was hard to be apart from them and my parents and sister.) I love snail mail…there's something so special about the thoughtfulness of it, the pretty cards and someone's handwriting. 🙂
Thank you for the giveaway!

When I was younger, I often corresponded physically with far-away friends, but when we all got email, the practice (of course) dropped off. But really, there's nothing like getting a real, personal, affectionate letter in the mail. I should try again!
I hardly ever email. I use facebook, and my son writes notes and pictures to my mom. 🙂
I am bad about getting things into the mail, so I send emails most of the time, & FB messages, even more. 😉

I do send letters occasionally, especially to older people who do not use email. cespeary (at) yahoo (dot) com
Letters are such a special treat, so I do send those from time to time.
I am all email.
Oh that is tooo funny, even before email I very rarely sent letters yet alone doing it today, lol. I do sent packages to family and friends though, not always by USPS, it's usually cheaper, faster and more dependable to use UPS or FED EX.

I do still send letters – especially to those I am close to, because I think they are more personal, also – I don't always like to put all my thoughts online.

Most of the letters I send are through email, although I do send the occasional hand written letter. I always love receiving hand written letters!
Up until recently, I always sent out note cards. Since getting Osteoarthritis in my hands I send an occasional hand written note but more email now 🙁
