This is a book I would recommend
over and again. Definitely for any teens out there, who will fall in
love with Ellie…and Palmer…and Chase. And also for any adults who
know what it is to chase a dream. This is seriously one of my most
favorite books ever, of any genre. Ellie Sweet is my new best friend–I
can’t wait to see more of her in the sequel!

Forsaken Dreams by M.L. Tyndall was fantastic, and so was Choices of the Heart by Laurie Alice Eakes. So many good books coming out, my kingdom for more time to read! 🙂
Short-Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer was wonderful.
This is always the hardest question for me! I read a LOT (I've read 128 so far this year) so picking a favorite is quite hard! I just posted a list of my favorites on my blog and I couldn't keep it below 20. So I decided to list the last amazing book I read which was Blue Skies Tomorrow by Sarah Sundin. Her whole Wings of Glory Series is AMAZING!

My favorite book this year was Wishing on Willows.
Probably With a Name Like Love by Tess Hilmo. I was one of three YA category judges for the INSPY awards this year, and that was our winner of choice 🙂 emilyrachellewrites.blogspot.com/2013/07/inspy-2013-winners.html
As for my faves thus far…hmm. Definitely Stephanie's. Also PAINT CHIPS by Susie Finkbeiner (not for the faint of heart, but SO GOOD). GLASS GIRL was awesome (YA). I enjoyed Julie Klassen's latest…I'm staring at my bookshelf trying to remember when I read which ones, LOL.
Well of course my books count. 😉 And that's a nice list!

But more seriously, kidding aside, your books are some of the best fiction I have read so far this year. I love your books and I reread two of the Zion Covenant (Bodie Thoene) series books recently. Those are the best fiction books so far, I think. In non-fiction, I reread "The Birth Order Book" (Dr. Kevin Leman) and am working my way through "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist" (Norman L. Geisler and Frank Turek).
I've read Miralee's others but not that one yet. She's a great writer though, so I'm sure it's awesome! And a wonderful woman to boot. =) I've enjoyed hanging with her some at writers conferences.
=) I know I'm biased, but seriously. So love that book–and so need the sequel, so get back to work, woman!
And Laura's book will be reviewed here next Tuesday. Seriously beautiful story, for sure!

Other than Whispers from The Shadows and Circle of Spies, my favorite book that I've read so far this year is Glass Girl by Laura Anderson Kurk. Such a beautiful message but gorgeous writing too. I also loved Lola and The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins. Great stuff.

That is a tough one! I think I'll have to go with "A Passion Most Pure" by Julie Lessman – mostly because I just finished it last night and it was AMAZING!!!

Goodness that is a hard question, but at the moment I would say A Noble Groom by Jody Hedlund and Invisibly by Ginny Yttrup!
It changes nearly on a book by book basis, but as of last week, Jen Turano's "A Change of Fortune" and "A Most Peculiar Circumstance" win for the most hilarious. It's not that often I laugh out loud when reading books, so they were quite memorable!

Jenny B. is such a great writer! I gave that one to my niece for Christmas. And I just adored the Russian tie-in in Submerged. We read that one for our bookclub and did a Skype call with Dani. Fun!

A SHORT HISTORY OF NEARLY EVERYTHING by Bill Bryson was a lot of fun to read.
Since I missed the 1st day of your contest and the stories about nicknames, I thought I would share mine. My middle name was Lee and my Aunt Mary had given each of the cousins (there were a lot of us, since there were 7 sisters in my mom's family). My nickname, became Vicki Lee-Lee and when I got into kindergarten, and my teacher asked us to each tell our name, I said my name was Vicki Lee-Lee and I was quite upset, when my teacher informed me that was NOT my name! When I turned 12, I began babysitting my Aunt Mary's toddler daughter and I decided that since Mary had given each of the other cousins nicknames, that I should give my cousin Cheryldean a nickname–she became Cheryl Deanie-Bopper, Boom-Bombay! Her nickname did not stick like the others–I don't understand why–maybe it was a bit too long? You think? LOL

I have really enjoyed The Painted Sky series by Murray Pura, of course part of that is because I am personal friends of a Diana Flowers (a great book reviewer) and she and her buddy reviewers were characters in the book. It is fun reading a book with a character in it, that was named and given some of the characteristics of someone whom I know. I would love to be entered in your contests!

I would have to say The Key on the Quilt and The Shadow on the Quilt, as I'm waiting for The Message on the Quilt, Stephanie Grace Whitson did a wonderful job on the first two books and I can hardly wait to read the last one.
